I played 3 matches today and I feel like server use old tick rate again. I just want to say that during weekend when server was on 50hz gameplay was much better. Biggest difference for me was when shooting from full automatic weapons. It felt much smoother and every bullet went where I aimed. I didn't experienced "super bullet" or maybe I just didn't notice which mean that was at very minimum.

1. I want to ask you will 50hz be back and if yes when?
2. Did you think to increase it more, tick rate? I heard that you will use 40hz tick rate because high ping players, (EXTREME HIGH PING that should not be allowed to play on that server, my opinion) 300-400ms can't play normal when server use 50hz tick rate.

Although M4rk0 is now aware that joewillburn answered this question on our official discord, I'll share it here too so everyone else can read it.

Current tickrate as of 14/01/2020 is 40 hz. It is not to "compensate for high pingers". Previously we had configured networking to consider 400 ping to be maximum supported. And by "supported" we mean basic playability. Beyond this limit game largely breaks with constant issues like low FPS and teleporting players.

Due to implementation details with high tickrate there is another edge case that forces us to limit this "maximum ping" to:
385 at 40 tickrate
300 at 50 tickrate

This means that at tickrate of 50 some players from remote regions may not be able to play the game. And we're not talking about competitiveness but rather about basic playability.

At the same time, tickrate of 40 allows us to:
1) increase tickrate twice compared to what we had before (20 hz).
2) avoid breaking game to some of our players.

Interestingly, I have been playing CSGO for over 3000 hours and I can say that even 64 tick is not enough, so it is better to play over Faceit, where there is 128 tick. If you say 40 tick is a lot, I say it's not enough for the FPS game. It is bad

CSGO is hit-scan, you can't compare it to Survarium. Besides, there are other FPS games that have less delay than CSGO and don't need 128 tick to do that, you can check Battlenonsense YouTube channel about this.

Yes I just say that for online fps gaming, there is 40 tick very little, in my opinion the tickrate should be a minimum of 64. To this you will add bad sync severs, and suddenly you have a bad game. I have CS 1.6,000 hours to play online and CSGO 3000 hours, I know what I'm talking about

Just bring back 50 or higher tickrate. For some reason I don't thing server is running 40hz at the moments. I feel lag when play.
