Considering the massive ELO difference, the final match score doesn't seem like it was that one sided (you only won by 20 points)

Be happy, with the penalties you asked for, afk and leavers will play another game and the playerbase should grow up soon.
I don't know how this theory work, but it's not mine.

Another nice matchmaking.... It prooves again that ELO on survarium mean nothing.
I was not playing so seriously and started the match in late, and have been kicked to lobby.
My teamate was afk the first part of the match.
And look at the result.

The total ELO is the same, but the players level totally different.
They simply had 0% of chance to win.

It was boring for them, and boring for us.

So your ELO is too low? Is that your point? I think so. Does anybody know if the ELO gets (negatively) updated after a match when the player left it before the end? I just wonder if, when a specific player leaves matches regularly and thus makes extremely low score, he could thereby develop a very low ELO which doesn't reflect his skill? In that case it would be natural that the ELO mean nothing.

Btw. I wouldn't consider the result of that match a proof for unbalancement (is that a word?). None of the players had a negative k/d. The lowest k/d 2.13. One would need to watch the replay to be able to say how much in trouble this player was, but this numbers could just mean that you (Ike) are a very good bot kill famer while the other players just went easy on them. ELO probably shouldn't indicate how good someone is at exploiting flaws in bot behaviour. It should tell how good your chances are to compete to specific other human players. In my opinion these bot matches are per se unsuitable for quality measurements of ELO. Actually every player should have an additional ELO rating exclusively for bot matches :)

"Penalties do not affect Elo, but normal actions throughout the match will, so if a player dies and then leaves, Elo will be reduced."

A player can have an ELO that doesn't represent his skill correctly because he farmed bots.

"Bots themselves don't have elo, but playing against high Elo players + bots is usually easier than playing against just high Elo players. So when playing against a team consisting of bots and players, you will usually have better results -> your Elo grows faster. Then again, those players could also have gotten their Elo in matches with bots. Bots basically allow all players to have their Elo be higher than it would be otherwise."

What about player ELO, if we play 2vs2 + bots? In such matches we can kill too many bots and get uncertain score. This happen to me sometimes - i played too many bots battles, and now with my **** ELO sometimes i'm worst player in team, when we play 8 vs 8.
So - what if 2vs2 or even 4vs4 battles will not influence player ELO at all?

P.S. I pray every day with hope that bots will be removed one day..;}.

actually, matchmaking seems to be quite good now. I always end up in very good competitive matches. its surprising and challenging and the funny thing is I got 12 WINS in a row. I forgot when I got so many consecutive wins...maybe 3 4 years ago!!!! especially since Im very very high on ELO :)))))))))))))
unf...ing believeble!!!! :)))))))) I wrote down a damn positive feedback and coming from me must be amazing!!!!
for the first time in years, game is rewarding good players and for the damn FIRST TIME since ever when I WON a match being somewhere in the middle at the end of the match :)))))))))))))))))

PS I always play against top players. my team is made up of top players. quality game play is extremely high, forcing everyone to play at its finest. its a pleasure to watch even....

Only actions taken against human player should be considered when calculating ELO. Actions against bots should be skipped.

I have lower latency even on ru server
very good players in my team and enemy team, smooth game play and 14 wins in a row...:)))))))
I was always interested in quality matches and this is what I have now

I'm not sure a new season league is happening any time soon. The reason is rating matches will further split the audience and will increase MM times. If rating matches could increase online number, we'd have another season. But they have almost no impact on the player-base.

So maybe introduce some competition within pvp matches? Even that top 100. To give players a goal to reach.

But his team mate has the same ELO as Ike and much less kills. So there would be discrepancy too. Or did you include him when referring to his opponents?

man Im toxic when I know Im right and fair when something positive kicks in.
I have to congrats VG for matchmaking now. matches r extremely high on quality. Im always with and against best players this game can provide. watch some of my matches and u will see. its really a pleasure to watch all skilled players against one another. its really really beautiful.
and btw, game would really need lower speed now. everybody with high ELO is playing slow anyway and accurate. game play is about map knowledge and proper aiming.
it would be much more beautiful and interesting if speed is set just a bit lower
anyway this is a very very good patch. somehow even my latency is better...

now lets wait for another patch to become toxic again :))))))))))
