Just make it bigger (some passages, tunnel) and it will be perfect 10th location.

Al we want is the Mall BIGGER and with more post-apo image, also like another user said implement new spaces inside, such as tunnels.

When all the NY/x-mas stuff is removed, what's left? A big hall (still a bit too small for full 8v8) with a second floor going around it and a 2 floor shack in the middle.

I'd much prefer it kept as a base for more events like this, tuned up with the event theme (seriously, I've already imagined the same map with halloween theme :P).

Unless you've got something better planned for new events?

+3 to what aZERO77 said. Remove the Christmas themed stuff, add in a load of trees and other foliage and some ramshackle covered areas made of bits of wood and corrugated steel, like on some of the other maps.

Might make a decent slaughter map, probably a bit too small for anything else.

Alternatively, you could keep the map as it's own separate deathmatch mode - I quite enjoy the novelty of a couple of guns race matches when I want a break from the standard PVP (although I did get sick of it when I had play what felt like a billion of them to get the a545)

I'd preffer if the weapon selection in the mode would be more random, like random modules etc.

I think you should activate the gun-race once a week or something, to prevent dividing the playerbase. I suppose the snowball won't be making a comeback until next holiday season, so I will hold off my rant on that..
Except from the snowball, the only thing that makes gun-game really tiring is the melee. Melee is as broken as ever and I am HAPPY that you are finally planning an update on that. Also if you punch someone that has got 2 kills on their current weapon, they will be demoted down 5 kills, which adds a ton of dependability on the melee.

Just two bugs I can think of on the map. Windows turn black when you aim through X3, X4, X6 and X8 scopes on low-end renderer, didn't test with high-end. The staircases are also tricky to traverse.

Dividing the playerbase? I guess, they will just merge this mode into the normal PVP mode set. So we can tick/untick guns race and search for a respective match concurrently with other modes. If that is what you meant.

Survarium is a game that prioritizes its atmosphere and history (like that of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and so), but it doesn't mean that the game has to exclude other elements... Simple to say; another map, another fun. No more to say.

And if possible, I'd want some more melee choice, not only buttstock smashing (which horrifies me like "oh shayse the gun is historically priceless how the **** could you use that antique beauty like that!") but some more knives and spikes, knuckle actions and even more... All come in instant kill and no difference, but that themselves'll be a cool feature.

btw, can you implent a hospital as map in game? as eastern/spring event maybe? a great "hard boiled" fight is a wonderful thing. but for all modes

After repeatedly being told there's not enough money to develop certain features of the game and that the developer needs more income, you're just gonna potentially throw out a new map (we were told maps take far too long to make before) and game mode?

Who's managing resources internally? A gerbil?

To be fair, it is a fun mode, and the map could be really interesting if was Survaruimised more (post apocalyptic forest look)

Well what if they're asking if they should remove the NY/x-mas stuff and put something else instead? They're asking if the base was good enough for them to spend time doing that or just start from the scratch. And as I said, if you remove the event stuff, it's just a big hall with second floor going around it and a shack in the middle, so they need to put some serious time into remaking it.

It will only slow down MM time. Many people playing alone and this is perfect game mode for them. More game modes = more games like 2v2 with bots. This mode is not designed for bot fights, becouse bots almost always win melee fights. It's good for event and I like this map, but now will be harder to find a match.
