Ehh, it shouldn't be that demanding, unless VG decide to shove every post-processing feature under one option (like it was on old renderer). Such things should be separate in options menu.

The List of Changes in Survarium 0.52a1

- a customized "Sharpness" graphics option has been added
- lighting computations have been optimized
- shadows rendering in aiming mode has been fixed
- maps loading time has been significantly reduced for players who experienced several minutes loading previously
- several memory leaks have been fixed
- reduced textures quality after several matches has been fixed
- crashes when graphics device has been removed have been fixed
- collimators set up on L85 has been fixed
- match servers behavior after OS synchronized time has been fixed
- replays playing has been fixed

Probably it means before this update the used collimators on L85 where just unsophisticated and cheap replicas with weaver rails of poor quality. As a result the collimators were very wobbly and always fell off the gun into the dirt during gunfights. But now they are FIXED ;)

Eeey, that's pretty good. Now people will stop complaining about sweetfx ;)

It's not without it's flaws sadly. Using sharpening and FXAA makes outlines of some objects (grass in particular) purple. Some anomaly effects as well. Without FXAA, but with sharpening on those outlines turn green and are very noticeable on crones of distant trees (same issue I ran into during the old days of using sweetfx).

If by this you mean the shadows disappearing while scoped in, then it's not fixed entirely. It's much better than it used to be but some places still have this problem.

1.-Some examples of disappearing shadows (before the patch, all the shadows would disappear past certain distance).

4.-Now the anomaly problem is a bit harder to portray (affects only sponge and larkspur anomaly). I know that they produce LSD effect by default, but this time around, purple is a lot more prominent than before (FXAA on, sharpening 0.5).

5.-The devs are probably aware that low shadows setting introduces these strange dark lines all over the place (most of the shadows are affected), but I just want to know if anything is going to be done with it, or it can't be fixed in general ?

I do not see anything unusual in these screens, am I blind?

On the first screen zoom in by a notch at crones of the trees. There is green outline surrounding them. It's hard to spot. The example with a flock of birds demonstrates the issue better I think.

Screen 2: the grass right in front of my gun. Look at the purple outlines.

Last two are the same purple outlines, it's just that the water reflects that purple color aswell.

Zooming in a little helps a lot.

Edit: here are some better examples of purple all over the place. Though it looks like it isn't affected by AA (turning it on resolves the green outline thing).

Anyone use ultrawide screen? I have just got mine, and I noticed some texture flickering:

Well, on screnshots it you can't really see it, but on first two trees on the background flicker like crazy, and train on the last one have some issues too, like shadows are... uh... colliding with geometry of it? I don't know how to describe it.

Set sharpness to a default value and asses points 2 & 4 again and please provide feedback accordingly.
