The gunshot marks are from a tree that used to stand there instead of the mini-bus.

It is old Russion fabrication like Traban, it is like wood :)

I suppose that it is also normal? It is when you stand or be close a certain type of artefact.

Survarium update 0.52a8 is available on the Public Test Server! To participate in the test, please download new game version or update PTS version 0.52a. You can install the PTS version simultaneously with version 0.51. Temporary shutdowns of the PTS are possible when installing updates and making urgent changes.

The changes are relative to the previous version Survarium 0.52a7 on the PTS. Also read about the major changes in Survarium 0.52 preview



Survarium 0.52a8 PTS Change Log
Technical improvements

- Improved game performance during shootouts in matches.
- Improved game performance when rendering location geometry.

Locations

- "Dangerous Knowledge" team mission: black squares removed.
- Tutorial story mission: improved lighting.

Weapons, Modules, Equipment and Supplies

- MP-153 "Baykal": damage decreased from 145 to 115.
- Optical sights with variable magnification have lower magnification by default.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue when the game client crashed when leaving "Dangerous Knowledge" team mission.
- Fixed an issue when the game client became unresponsive while moving from the Forest to the lumberyard in "Dangerous Knowledge" team mission.

Known Issues

- Low quality textures on some objects ("blurry" objects) on the game locations. We are working on fixing it. Until then, please restart the game client if you encounter this issue.

Chemical plan still crashes for me, the game sends the crash report every time, why isn't this in "known issues"?

I confirm, it is a known issue on low-end PCs

I have exact same problem and some other maps crash too also pve
my low-end PC i5 8600k GTX 1060 6GB and 16GB RAM

aha, we have this issue only on our minimum PC with 8600 GT, all the other computers don't have this problem

Pump those numbers up, those are office pc specs.

But for real, you and yaji are the only people here experiencing this problem, which is weird.

Well I have Intel 6700K, 16GB of RAM, GTX1080, no low end here either.

I made a comparison between in-game SSAO and Reshade's MXAO. I think original AO in many places in overdone, too intensive, too black. In comparison, MXAO does more subtle, natural job.

Would it be possible to tune SSAO a bit?

why we can't add modules to standard forend Akm and add the option to change mag size not only the 30 round and having more options to add scopes for them like Ak 12?

VG, i love PTS sights. Great improvment, imo.
But I have a little suggestion. It would be nice if they magnify only view IN the scope but not AROUND it, because now you can follow your target a bit too easily and x4 scopes can become dominating and actually OP attachment.

Anyway, good job with the update so far ;)

Some games have this (Red Orchestra 2, for example), but it's very resource demanding because it needs to render the image twice, just like a rearview mirror in racing games.

What VG could do in this case is just blur the image around the scope :P

They didn't work yet on the maps that got recently added.

Vector has yet to have the lighting reworked.
