Update Highlights

New Location – London

London differs from other Survarium locations both visually and gameplay wise. Tight corridors of the buildings are ideal for characters armed with shotguns or submachine guns. On the other hand, wide streets allow snipers to score quite a few frags. In the center of the area there is an office building serving as a perfect outpost. The team that takes over it will control the most part of the map.

Server Select and Faster Matchmaking

Now you can choose game server location at any time right from the game. Next to each server (RU, EU, US) you can see your ping to each server and a number of players looking for match queue on each server. We have also improved Matchmaking system so you can find a suitable match faster.

Improved Graphics

We made a number of changes to the lighting of objects and vegetation rendering. By reducing the contrast we hope the image will be less tiring on the eyes. Moreover, these improvements will increase framerate on some maps. We keep in mind performance issues on some PC configurations and continue to work on solving the problem.

Balance Changes and New Weapons

We changed damage calculation and equipment parameters to solve two problems. First of all, now high-level automatic weapons do not kill characters almost instantly. Secondly, low level weapons now inflict more damage against characters in top-tier body armor. High-level gear still offers the best performance though. We have also introduced five new weapons: submachine guns FN P90 and the KRISS Vector, assault rifles MSBS Radon, Valmet Rk.62 and vz. 58 P.

Achievements

Achievements are personal players’ goals and grant performance awards. Most achievements give achievement points which allow you to compare your progress with that of other players. Some achievements reward the character with new items, for example camouflage and equipment. At the moment more than a hundred different achievements are available. If you have fulfilled the criteria of certain achievements already, you will get them as soon as you log into the game!

Workshop and Item Upgrades

Workshop window is available right from the main menu and allows you to upgrade weapons, modify equipment stats and appearance! We have also changed the concept of donor item. From now on you only need a certain number of parts to improve an item. Parts can be obtained as battle trophies or salvaged by disassembling equipment you don’t need. These parts are universal and can be used to upgrade any item!

Changes to Leagues and New Rewards

You will now reach a League that best matches your skills faster. To do that you simply need to play a few qualifying matches. In addition, we have improved rewards for ranked matches. When entering a League for the first time, you will gain a reward containing several items. The quantity and quality of the items depends on the League. Upon qualifying for a high-tier League you will also receive rewards for all the previous Leagues!

Killcam

Many players don't understand how exactly their character was killed, and that might be quite frustrating. Killcam lets you see who and how killed your character. One of the drawbacks is that the position of the killer is revealed. This forces the players to move, which is especially inconvenient for snipers. We are minimizing this effect by doing the following. The camera doesn't show the enemy's actions after the kill, but the killer is shown from a third person perspective.

New Sound Effects

Now weapon sounds are fully consistent with the environment in which the shot is fired. Thus, determining where the shootout is going on and the distance to it will be much easier. The effects of the environment in which the shot is made are completely unique for each location. We have also added weather sounds: you will hear howling wind, rain drops and other environmental effects.

New Battle Statistics Screen

The screen with the match results now allows you to do more! Not only can you see the battle statistics, but also speak with the players in battle chat and take a look at their characters. The previous version of aftermatch statistics screen is available when viewing extended information about the battle from the lobby.

- Added Killcam mode. It allows you to see the killer immediately after the death of your character

- Visual changes on all levels: changed the height and visualization of grass, softened shadows on the vegetation
- All regions combined into a single global region. You can select the game server from the lobby
- Changed the base cost of upgrade and modification of items
- "Sponge" artifact now works as a grenade
- Added a restriction for Ranked battles: characters below level 5 are not able to participate

- Added flags of the following countries: New Zealand, Ireland, Scotland, England, South Korea, Japan, China
- Neostead 2000 (premium) renamed to NeoStead 2000 M2
- Neostead 2000 can now be found after the battle
- Added anti-personnel mines PMN-3 and MON-50

Scavengers

- Added Vz. 58 to rank 6
- Added MSBS Radon to rank 8
- Added KRISS Vector to rank 9
- Added Combat armor set, level 8
- Added Firefighter armor set, level 9
- Added Nomad armor set, level 10
- AKS-74U, AKS-74U "Corsair": damage reduced to 30, armor-piercing increased to 40
- OTS-02, OTS-02 Kiparis: damage reduced to 25, armor-piercing increased to 10
- KRISS Vector (new weapon): 32 damage, 45 armor-piercing
- MSBS Radon (new weapon): 32 damage, 42 armor-piercing
- PM: damage reduced to 25, armor-piercing increased to 10
- TT-33: damage reduced to 20
- PP-19-01, PP-19-01 Vityaz: damage reduced to 28, armor-piercing increased to 20
- vz. 58 P (new weapon): 30 damage, 30 armor-piercing

Black Market

- Added Valmet Rk. 62 to rank 5
- Added FN P90 to rank 9
- Added Mercenary armor set, level 9
- FN FNC: damage reduced to 32, armor-piercing increased to 40
- FN P90 (new weapon): 28 damage, 55 armor-piercing
- H&K 416A5: damage reduced to 35, armor-piercing increased to 45

User Interface

- Added a tooltip that displays penalty to movement speed
- Added an option to disable the display of medals earned in battle
- Fixed old tips and added new ones for the loading screen

Fixed Bugs

- Fixed crash during map load
- Fixed several critical errors that led to game crashes
- Fixed several bugs in the sound system
- Fixed reliability modifiers
- Fixed errors in functioning of artifacts and grenades
- Fixed several UI bugs

You forgot to add something:

- Veteran bulletproof vest has been added to the Scavengers faction
- Veteran pants has been added to the Scavengers faction

Its new premium gear btw.

Detected a first bug in the Lobby.

When you go into the Scavengers faction overview and you see the experts rank there is "Comabt helmet" instead of "Combat helmet". (Its not a bug but some has written it wrong^^)

Oh mother of dragons - more Premium gear? Thank god, now all the players will come back and enjoy their time! Hopefully the premium gear fixed all the lag, desyncs and crashes too.

Didnt they say that they will stop adding premium gear for a while now?? Another lie of them. Same goes for replay and static anomalies. Played a round on Vector but no static anomalies Oo

EDIT: Please remove the killcam its just horrible never seen such a bad killcam...

The contents of this patch was planned before the "no more premium gear for a while" statement was made. So it does not apply to 29. Also, Vector never had static anomalies. Only the green radiation shaft in the middle of the location which has always remained there.

Guys stop be paranoic. All the factions had recieved a Tier 8 premium armors so what you have expected? This was obvious that once Scav's will get tier 8 and above, they'll get a premium version as well.

As much as I hate the p2w, the changes to the stuffies and more gold grab, you're being insane here.

Besides, you whine about the tier 8 armor that has been added. How about that Premium and Rare SR-3M Vikhr had been equalized and both have 30 rnd mags now? HUH?

First: Love the workshop... Especially when you have to wait 30-60 seconds to dismantle 1 thing or upgrade 1 thing if you're on EU server.
Next: Reddot sigths still not fixed. Why didn't you just put the green dots on 416A6 and the BSMS?
Last: New sounds are horrible and and dull. Didn't you stated it many times joe? "VG even uses real weaponry to record its sounds" How all sounds sound like you have those contruction-site earbuds.

Everyone sane would notice. I do not agree with killcam and few other stuffies including the more of golden gear and increased grind that's being introduced with every patch but... honestly.

Once you introduced the tier 8 armors in their golden version, it was obvious that Scavengers will get one of their own as they'll get their tree finished. So I have no problems with that this patch. It's nothing new, nothing unexpected and mere logic should tell everyone this will happen. Besides, it was on PTS.

At the same time you (the company I mean) equalized the SR-3M Vikhr and made it not be a blatant P2W anymore as they both have same mags. And that's something others do just conveniently skip over... while yelling and throwing shit for "more p2w" etc... Just common! @_@

This sadly just works in open spaces. In closed spaces it's quite bad. Not to mention the false panning. But this has all been reported before for the PTS, could've been fixed with some patience before rushing it out onto the live environment.

The "improved graphics" is simply a lie joewillburn, stop denying it please. The game looks worse than it ever did. Artifact lighting is poor, sun lighting is poor. No dark places AT ALL. http://puu.sh/iuOym/c7cf83f44c.jpg (Tarakanowsky Fort, deepest part of the map.) No natural or artificial light sources. Bright as a day.
The sounds are poor and not dynamic. Shooting weapons sounds the same in-, and outdoors.
Weapon sights are bugged, killcam is bugged (weapon models and gloves disappear in killcam, it closes too fast most of the time).
For me it just looks like VG actually ignored EVERYTHING the player wanted and just did what they want to do. I am not surprised if you lose more players after the update, and the game will die slowly. Now it's all your fault, sadly.

Maybe the many merged threads and official poll with several hundred votes against the killcam were not clear enough and because of the language barrier they instead scrapped the replay feature...
