Chemical Plant

This is the place to discuss the game locations, as they are known to the current Survivors.

Nexolate:Alpha screens looks awesome. Im looking forward to see basement of the factory.

I never considered that there might be a basement. It could be an interesting flanking route, since the yard looks like a real shooting gallery with all the elevated walkways and windows.

Personally, this is the location that I'm looking forward to the most. I always find industrial settings interesting in games, as there's usually a lot of intricacies in the environment with pipes, machinery and walkways crossing everywhere.

Maybe it could be a flanking route, but full of anomalies and very difficult to get out alive

This looks like an interesting level, lots of potential for good vantage points and players being at different heights. A good '3D' map. And I hope some chemical anomalies?

What would be cool if there was a tunnelsystem providing an alternitive route into the enemy base, probably with anomalies at the entrances so that only characters with accordingly equiped clothings can enter them.

Loved the addition of chemical plant. There's something mesmerizing in all this decaying, dead industry filled with toxic waste and ugly corrosion. I'd love to see some rare creatures there... something like bloated mutant hedgehogs with poisonous needles. They could eat mushrooms. Poisonous of course. That would make them even more antisocial and evil :)

Now that there are more information given about Chemical Plant, here my thoughts on it:
Gameplay-wise, I like that this map offers wide places, snipers will really enjoy this I think. Though I'm curious on how this map will play on a Vityaz or AKS, or even a shotgun. Because I think, inside of the buildings, the situation will be a bit different than on the outside, less space, more cover.

So, as said in the 6th diary, small teams with a sniper and an automatic weapon will be nice, because the sniper can protect the team on the way accross the map, and the other one takes over on shorter distances. Plus, I think this map will help people learn to control their automatic weapons better (burst fire ;P).

On the lore background of this map, I think it's really interesting to see that the woods were able to locate where exactly the herbicides that were to be used against them were being produced (not only where they were put to use), and cold and routhlessly kill of the whole factory, not leaving the employees any chance of survival. I also wonder on what kind on material the anomaly that blocks of the train railway is made of... looks a bit like organic crystals... maybe similar to bones? (bones are made of both organic and inorganic components)

I really like what i see, but from what i see it brings me back to a feeling off Yanov's areas, love it! Also from previous post's i saw, i would like to see a basement, perhaps loaded with monsters to add the danger off going down there, but occasionally rare chem alike artifacts can be found there? I don't know, but i like it

We only saw two.
The chemical leaks on the ground and the strange orange flora, where the train was stopped.
