Throughout its history, mankind lived through much turmoil. However, neither the natural calamities, nor epidemics of illnesses bore so much threat to mankind as the man himself. The 2 World Wars will always remain as dark spot in our history. And this elevates the status of those who were involved in the ordeal with even greater levels for bringing them both to an end.

The Stalingrad battle became the crucial moment of World War II. Over two million soldiers gave their lives in battle. In order to immortalize their memory, after the war a memorial complex was constructed and of course the Motherland Calls monument became a true gem of it. For many decades this monument became a symbol of strength and courage for millions of Soviet people.

At the time of the epidemics, Volgograd turned into the Renaissance Army’s centre of operations. It is here where the remains of the regular armies of the ex-USSR countries flooded in for regrouping and get back to the frontiers united against the general threat. Mamayev Kurgan became a place of fierce combat once again, this time between mankind and the Forest. Months of intense fighting have drastically changed the look of the Kurgan. And it is only the Motherland Calls which, as before, is standing as a symbol of resistance and courage of the Renaissance Army warriors. And therefore, there is a hope!

Mamayev Kurgan is nice. It seems to be the most open map. (with Rudnya together) It should be a role model for other places in the following gamemodes. :)

Best map so far! Gratz to your Level Designer.
I like all the details in the map and the opportunity to take different path on different levels. This is definitely the way to go!

one good map but some players kill you in the spawn camp (the spawn camp near the artifacts zone can be reach with a run+jump..) I hope i can write it here

I'll be honest i hate this map the most, It's a sniper heaven but basically at least on my luck all good spots are taken and by the moment i run to one of the spots i want to take i'm in the scopes of 3-4 snipers XD

before the remake this map was already bad design 1 side complete open and 1 side high ground with good cover , now it is the map that almost half the team leave because its unplayable. if u have the high ground side its a pure shooting gallery.

I disagree. This map brings you the opportunity to choose between suprise the enemy from the ground gaps or make support to your team from the upper ground. Also it has a lot of paths to choose.

So far, I haven't found any match emptied for this reason.

I know a damn good spot to camp where enemy has a very hard time to tackle me once there. In fact I prefer being on the side that has least cover and harder access to the high ground. All one needs to know is how to jump properly and you can guess which spot I sit and for my convenience there is already a fire or two to roast marshmallows upon. It is here hackers even have trouble with me. Best camp spot ever!!!

u should rebalance this map. 2 players could hold point a and close tunnel. sorry, but this sucks...

Looks good but unbalanced as hell itself. Top spawn will always have upper hand in all game modes except TDM.

This is true. I really like to play the other side because you can`t be camped like that. You can camp the tunnel from base to a from so many different angels and most of them features seeing the enemy before he can see you.

Also, artefact spawning near spot c has a great imbalance when you compare the destination to the basepoints. The short way for team A is open for snipers from base B, the long way is pretty long and for team A the way is short and mostly protected.
