Tarakanovsky Fort

This is the place to discuss the game locations, as they are known to the current Survivors.

Tarakanovsky Fort is a range of defensive buildings built in the 19th century to defend the Western cordons of the Russian empire. By a twist of fate the Fort participated neither in the First, nor in the Second World War and for a long time it was in disuse and fell victim to gradual decay over time.

Love all the locations so far, especially this location looks amazing, would love to see a swamp area more open area, with only cover being some trees, and little huts. http://www.tcnj.edu/~hofmann/swamp.jpg http://www.spe.org/atce/2013/images/gue ... p-Tour.jpg :P but really good work can't wait to play :)

Really got that 'aged' feeling spot on! Well done, really great depth to the current maps. Most other games' maps are quite empty...

I like it when there's real-life locations in games, especially if there's history behind them.

So if I understand John correctly, this location is based on an equivalent in real life, in Russia?
If this is so, is that with all the locations? Would be great for the immersion!

Looks interesting, the large amounts of foliage will make this area pretty fun.
