Anyone else get a major Cordon vibe from Rudnya? I look at those pictures of the village and I keep expecting to see Sidorovich's Bunker and hear those iconic acoustic songs.

I really wish for a place with that strong feeling of "Home coming", which I had at the Bar in Stalker.
You are hours out there, in this dangerous area and they have a place, where you are almost save, where you can meet people, getting missions or plan your next tour into the world.
I never had that feeling in another game and it would be really good. That was so much atmosphere.

There won't be any NPCs in the game. Only mutants in the Co-op and Freeplay modes.

Both the Scavengers Camp and the Renaissance Army have been confirmed to supply sniper rifles. In fact, I'm pretty sure that Scavengers are supposed to be specialists at it. There's even a Marksman role on the website.

Rudnya.. Great map design with the close range areas, the reeds and fog infiltration, good sniping post, the anomaly potential, medicine. I can't wait to run through it and gut me that sniper.

I wonder what the anomaly is like? They mentioned that it was in the marshes during Dev Diary #3, but I don't think I've ever seen a clear picture of it.

That church reminds me Clear Sky :) I would like to play as Marksman so I will enjoy this map for sure.
