The List of Changes in Survarium 0.58a
Weapons and Equipment

- Introduced new assault rifle: AKMSU. The weapon is available on the 4th tier of the Renaissanse Army.
- Introduced several new weapon modules. You can find those in Treasure Hunt, after match and in stashes found in the Team Missions. At the moment these new modules are available mostly for AKMSU. In the upcoming updates we will expand the list of compatible weapons.
- Vz. 58: aiming time reduced from 0.35 to 0.3 sec.
- ASh-12: aiming time reduced from 0.4 to 0.35 sec.

Locations

- CNPP Cooling Tower: added a version with the rainy weather.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue causing rate of fire parameter to display incorrectly on shotguns.

St. Patrick's Day in Survarium

- Participate in the St. Patrick's Day event in Survarium from March 15 (starting at 1 PM GMT) to March 25, play in the new game mode and receive unique rewards!
- Play in "Search and Destroy" game mode, receive special event currency (mugs of ale, clover leaves, and pots of gold) and exchange it for the unique decals and L85 assault rifle!
- "Search&Destroy" mode is available on the following locations: "An abandoned base", "School", and "Vostok Radar Station" (2 variations).
- The goal of the attacking team in "Search and Destroy" is to deliver the artifact to one of the two points. The defending team has to protect their base. If attackers manage to deliver the artifact (or kill all defenders), they win a round. Otherwise the round is won by defenders. After three rounds attackers and defenders switch places. The first team to win 5 rounds wins in the match.
- The higher you place after a match, the more event currency you get! You can also receive the special currency in any other PvP-match, but playing "Search and Destroy" game mode will net you the biggest rewards.
- You can exchange the Holiday currency for the "Mug of ale" and "Clover leaf" decals (thanks to ODESSAmamaUA for the design), and L85A2 "St. Patrick" assault rifle (tier 4). The weapon has a unique camo (thanks to John Rivian for the design), 3 random modifiers and all its module slots unlocked.
- Each of the event decals provides +10% bonus to experience. Both decals provide an additional set bonus of +10% to spare parts.
- The event will last from March 15 to March 25 (10 AM GMT).
- You will also get the Green Cylinder for the first PvP win during the event.
- Equip the cylinder and gain +3 to each of the event currencies after a match in "Search and Destroy" game mode.
- Premium account provides +25% to the amount of the event currency.
- St Patrick's Day event currency can be earned in S&D game mode and in normal PVP-matches (but you will receive less currency).
- In PvP matches you will receive 4 (for a win) and 2 (for a loss) of a random event currency. Additionally, Green Cylinder increases the amount of the currency by 3, and Premium-Account increases it by +25%.
- You can also purchase the event currency in the Survarium web shop or in the game shop.

Download Survarium 0.58 and check it out! Hopefully you'll like the changes.

See you on the battlefield!

Ok, agree ;]. But why so heavy? This AKMSU in real life must be like max 2,6-3 KG without ammo. Now slowdown is way to big.

This is a question for the weapon designers. Can't be the perfect weapon in all aspects though.

You have lots of modules for this weapon that will reduce the default slowdown. I checked and from 6% it drops to 4% or less. With purple mods it would drop even more.
It's not about being the new best gun, it's about module variety. It has many modules that cannot be changed on other weapons (receiver cover can be taken off, handle can be changed, extended magazine, stock can be removed, gas cover can be removed...).

Gotta admit, the expanded module system on AKMS is bae. This is what I wanted to see the first time modules got introduced into the game and I hope VG will keep working in this direction.

AKMSU looks very cool. Number of details in-game is absolutely amazing. Also iron sights finally looks correct when comparing to rest of AK family.

Can we expect more remastered AKs to this quality level?

I can't say if we will "remaster" the other AKs but anything is possible in the future.

Question: How many pots of gold do you get from 1st place in the winning team in S&D with hat and premium on?
Answer: 23. And the worst case (loss, no cylinder, no premium, last place) is 5. Also, you get the same amount of each currency in S&D. In other PvP modes you get a random currency. Finally, the worst case scenario in S&D is still better (5 of each currency, so 15 in total) than the best case in other PvP modes (8 of one random currency).

Sweet S&D is fun and finally back! Did some matches and gameplay feels kinda good so far, sure die kinda fast but gameplay feels more enjoyable so far since xmas event when i last played. Those 10% xp bonus decals will sure come to use to level up all skills in future! Also thanks for not making the event as grindy as the Xmas factions event! :)

Edit: The afk warning should be disabled for this mode or remade to not sensor players who shoot and run around and try fighting.. sometimes others get the kills for some rounds and you dont score any points and you get punished by not getting any event symbols or modules.. :/

The afk warming shouldn't work for S&D.

Veterans, did you know that you now have a way to spend all those MILLIONS of Silver that were just gathering dust?

You can buy the AKMSU many times for 175,000 and use those green modules it comes with to upgrade yours. You can get 132 modules for 5.8M. You can then sell the AKMSU for 26,250.

I would advise you to spend 10 gold ($0,10) to upgrade from green to blue to save time and silver.

Enjoy this little bit of fan-service :)

Man a problem though, Ive got more the 1500 items of witch 800+ r weapons. I can barelly search for the weapon I wanna play with...not to mention modules or selling through that crazy amount of items. I did it before and it took hours just to manage the inventory :))))))
But indeed very good tip

My thoughts on 0.58

AKMSU:

1. Decent weapon, looks nice, interesting foregrip.
2. mediocere damage and firerate.
3. Nice addition to the game

CNPP Rainy stuff:

1. Looks good.
2. Does lag every now and again for me.

St Patrick's Day event:

1. Nice weapon skin
2. I have loved search and destroy since it first came out in another event.
3. The amount of currency needed for the weapon doesn't seem too heavily focused on buying extra currency (TL:DR, It's fair)

Overall, I liked this update.
Keep up the good work

Firerate can be improved by +5% (with mods), then by +12% (with AKS74U gas tube module) and by an additional +12% (with AKMSU bolt carrier group module). Gun's stock rate of fire is 600, but it can be increased to more than 750. 750 is with Industrial rarity modules if you account for getting the best positive bonus on them, which is 10%. You would need Mastercraft quality modules to get the additional +4% of rate of fire.

Thanks for pointing that out.
I didn't really think that was too bad of a point, it was more an observation from the first few days of playing.
And lets be honest, there will be only 1 or 2 players getting enough kills with the weapon to actually be able to unlock everything on it

TL:DR
Weapon decent but not enough time with it to improve it

***Edit 1

Dont think I'm calling the weapon bad, it's just not great

***Edit 2

If it wasn't clear, I am talking about the base non-upgraded version
