As the title says; we've been working on a new FOV for the game to better suit the current build and in preparation for future content. What do you guys think?

After looking at the picture, I can just say: Looks different. Maybe some movie could help to decide if it's better.

My lord, this is amazing.

Finally, I will be able to use the M4 and perhaps the FN FNC to any degree of efficiency with ironsights.

The front part of the rifle looks as if it was giant, that's the only downside there.

Looks good, but this FOV is only 'weapon FOV'? because there is games where you can adjust FOV for the weapon but not for the enviroment.

The other doubt i have is if this new FOV fix when you have some weapons with some sight (i mean, not in aim-down-sight state) this take many screen space at your right side and you can't see some enemies, as i said at your right side. (i'm attaching a picture later, with the Jackhammer, by example)

It does not feel or look right with the sights on that weapon. I also would like to see the pictures as a whole instead of chopped diagonally like that.

I'm not one to notice these things easily, or whine if it's wrong, but with this I had to pick up old ar-15 type airsoft gun with ghostring sights and test what's this about. The new one is clearly the better one, on the old one the sight was like an inch from the eye..

Hopefully overall FOV gets widened. FOV now in use feels like staring through toiletpaper roll.

That's the intention though, it's to make iron sights on guns like UZI, M4 and FN-FNC more viable.

What if maps were designed with current horizontal FOV in mind?

Mate, go to any game, ANY game with an M4 or M16 in it and ADS with them. They all look like what VG is proposing because what VG has now is unnecessarily obstructive.

The standard ironsight on most weapons takes to must space on the screen, it's difficult to follow enemies because the ironsight blocks the view. that's why I always try to upgrade the weapon with the collaminator.
What will the view be with the collaminator? Wil there be any difference in aiming? Wil it affect the accuracy?

it looks decent enough - but about reason for doing this .... future content ... so that huge granade launchers wouldnt fill the whole screen ?

Every little update counts. A new and better quality FOV is a great improvement. The game must be maintained and improved.

can this be implemented into PTS before 0.46? Or there will be separate PTS before 0.46?

I agree, totally true that this makes a difference. I asked for this months ago and finally we have it coming.
