The List of Changes in Survarium 0.63a

General Changes
- Added new setting for mouse sensitivity when aiming. Mouse sensitivity setting was reset to 1.
- Added new setting "Dialogues and audio records" which allows to set the volume of dialogues and audio diaries in the team mission and tutorial.
- When selling a weapon its modules are removed automatically.
- Improved indication of energy consumption. If there's not enough energy for an action, energy bar becomes red and flashes.
- Energy consumption for a jump increased from 0.2 to 0.3.
- Melee attacks now consume energy. This change ensure the players don't spam melee attacks.
- Inmproved idle players (AfK players) detection in a match.
- Added new UI messages when you lose connection to a match server or match server crashes.
- Now premium accounts unlock all 3 player profiles when active. Also you can still purchase profiles with silver.
- New ranked season starts shortly after the update goes live and lasts until the end of May 2020.
- Added new weapon available for the league tokens: Saiga-12K "Legend".

Faction Challenge V-Day in Europe Event

- The game event will last from May 8, 2020 to May 18, 2020.
- Earn reputation for your favorite faction fighting in PvP-matches at specific time! The schedule of the fights awarding event reputation is at the end of the news. If you wish, you can support several factions in turn.
- Support a faction to receive rewards, including weapons with unique camouflage! All you need to do to get them is gather enough reputation during the event. You can get all rewards from all factions if you play long enough!
- Each faction has the following rewards (total reputation required is in parenthesis): 500 spare parts (10.000), 3 day Premium voucher (20.000), peaked cap with faction emblem (40.000), a weapon with unique faction camouflage (60.000) (thanks to John Rivian for the design), a box with 10 rare modules (80.000).
- The faction to receive the most reputation by the end of the event wins!
- After the event the winning faction will offer a discount on all of its equipment and weapons.
- The other three factions will also provide a discount, but it will be lower.
- Also, for the first victory during the event you will receive a decal "Victory Day 1945"(thanks to ODESSAmamaUA for the design). With it, you can earn more reputation for the match.

- League shop now has a new weapon Saiga-12K "Legend".
- Now jackets, vests and pants have a new parameter "Energy costs". The higher it is, the more energy is required (for sprinting, jumping and melee attacks).
- Now all flash suppressors remove muzzle flame and flashes.
- Now all silencers have negative "Aim time" modifier.
- AKM: damage increased from 37 to 40, armor penetration increased from 25 to 32, changed recoil.
- AKS-74U: damage increased from 38 to 41, armor penetration increased from 20 to 27, changed recoil.
- AKMSU: damage increased from 37 to 40, armor penetration increased from 20 to 32, changed recoil.
- AK-12: damage increased from 37 to 39, armor penetration increased from 27 to 35, changed recoil.
- Valmet Rk.62: damage increased from 37 to 40, armor penetration increased from 25 to 32, changed recoil.

Bug fixes

- Fixed an issue when the game client wasn't reconnecting into a match after losing connection.
- Fixed an issue when "Play" button was inactive after match server crashed.
- Fixed an issue when the chat window was popping up spontaneously during a match.
- Fixed an issue allowing blocked players (players in the black list) sending you invitations to a squad or a clan.
- Fixed an issue when mobile enemy sensor was displayed as allied on the mini-map and on the map available upon pressing Tab.

So the low ttk was making this game unplayable and now you decrease it even more by increasing weapon dmg? Everyone saying that you die too fast and you still favor bush campers...

Why is Vostok Games the only devteam of an online FPS which throws over the entire game every half a year in an attempt to do ... Something? Every other game I know, and I played a lot of them, have a core balance. They build-up upon those core and just enhance it. Vostok Games just takes everything and just completely changes it without a lot of sense.
There were so many rebalances where the community was happy, and they had some slight imbalances. Changing these is too hard and makes them grab less cash. So I guess the playerbase has to live with the the fact of constant, neverending complete overthrows of any balance.
What is the reason behind the half-year complete rebalances of core mechanics?

I can't play fast, because my stamina ends very quickly.
I can't melee guy, because even if I caught up with him, I don't have stamina for melee hit.
I can't protect myself from snipers, because every sniper rifle is buffed, so it doesn't matter what I wear - I die.
I can't run/quick scope with sniper rifle, because aiming time is now increased beyond the scale.
I can't rush enemy, because in every corner some camper waiting for me focused and aimed. So me and my lovely silencer won't help, because silencer increasing aiming time (no idea why).
I've never felt in my playing history (and I have over 3500h in Surv) so much anger, that my runner strategy was razed to the ground. I almost lost TDM, because the opponents were sitting on respawn with sniper rifles and me and my team couldn't not do anything, because we had to run there over half a minute after death.

I would approve of positive changes (because there are such), but at this point I completely don't want to write anything and I'm waiting for some fixes maybe.

I can see the logic, weapons have more recoil now, so buff affects cqc but ruins their spray'n'pray over range capability to kill, so silencer doesn't diminish effective distance now because you need more damage per shot to kill over range.

I've been testing the AK-12 and the recoil is much harder to compensate now after the change. When you're dragging your mouse down, now it goes much more to the left, so I don't think people will kill by spraying as easily as before, but I'll have to check in more matches... It's not CS:GO recoil, but it's a bit harder than in 0.62. Question is, can those who use macros compensate it now? If they do, only legit players get punished.

It's a bit of a shame that all you cherry pick is the particular piece you don't like without understanding how it will all work together - if the sum total of the mechanics alterations will work to improve the overall experience.

I wish you'd at least try it for yourself before condemning it outright.

Just wow! In my opinion VG doesnt understand how it all work together. TTK was short enough and with short enough i mean way too short. Now u guys decreased it even more. Gameplay was static enough if compared to the dynamic we had in the past with high armors and balanced snipers. Now it will get even more static. VG are the guys who dont understand how this affects whole gameplay not we, the players. With this update u guys did the last step to transform this game into 100% camp2win mechanics.

Unless you're talking about stamina changes and not weapon buffs/nerfs/changes, then I'm not sure how can these changes make it more campy. Stamina costs are too high now and will be adjusted, Fantom has already confirmed on RU forum that they're working in this regard, but Kube is copying sniper changes, out of all things, and he does this by not even having tried the update and without mentioning the following change:

Who cares if ASVK, M82 and Vychlop were buffed in damage, if they were already killing with one hit even Zubr with Onyx most of the time? The other low tier SRs got a buff in damage, yes, but it doesn't reach pre-0.63 T5 values, except for the SV-98, so how is this a problem if they're forced to play together with T5? What I'm basically seeing in the Sniper section is a nerf to quick-scoping capabilities (Barrett now has more than 1s aiming time if you add a Purple +15% aiming time silencer to it). If this means fewer situations where a Sniper kills you basically while he's still sprinting, then be it.

VG is already backing up with this change, saying that they will decrease the penalty...
So yea, fast as lightning, silent, one shotting your toenail boom sticks are not going anywhere soon. Too many bush monsters provided their feedback on RU forum you see...

I'm not sure that a bush camper would care about longer aiming time, because they have RMB pressed most of the time, right? This feedback is probably coming from agressive players who like running with Sniper Rifles... But, eh, we'll see. Not the first patch that we get where everyone says that this game just got ruined, but then .b or .c version hotfixes of the same update fine-tune it pretty well.

Thanks for underlining this, because this is exactly what VG doesnt understand. The lower the TTK in this map design, the more static/campy the gameplay will be. Its a "domino effect". What is so hard to understand here? The faster u die, the more careful and static the players gonna play, wich brings other players to pick more often sniper rifles and camp too.

^this, and a hundred times this. Such low TTK will never work on most of the maps (which are mostly based on a 3-lane design).
All 3 lanes get eyeballed by snipers (or any other weapon) instantly (especially noticeable on slaughter maps) and the movement between teams *POOF* disappears. The outcome of the match boils down to which team will outcamp the other.

The maps would need to be huge to support flanking routes. Duga is more or less there, but the lack of cover and big open spaces kills it.
