Is it only me or is TTK is so abysmal that some guns are either OP against almost anyone (Except Zubr and Onyx Piligrim) or not worth using at all.
Snipers one shot anyone anywhere, HRoF guns melts everyone, AK-15 is insane, shotguns are insanely OP.

Toz double barrel is a pseudo-sniper rifle, I'm talking from expirience, it can easily one/two shot at a various distances except the two exceptions. Anyone who wears anything lower thant T5 gear, insta-kill. The whole game is an insane twitch shooter, better than CoD but Armor feels almost useless, sure higher tier and specific armors adds a few milliseconds or a few seconds of survival but nothing more. Sure various sets bonus etc.

I've seen people not only blatantly aimlocking, walling no-recoil shots of semi-auto snipers and much more its bloody insane.

Am I the only one seeing this and thinking about that?

The game has simply too many armors, weapons, modifiers, modules, ammos and boosters type to make a good balance.

To this I can tell you that the killcam doesn't display recoil correctly (and never has). Other players will see little or no recoil on you too.

To your other accusations, we'd need specific proof (match id, nicks, suspicious moments after checking the replay and not judging just by the killcam.

When are you going to address the issue with sniper rifles?
This instant kill, almost hitscan style has existed for too long and it makes terrible players too effective.

Whilst I agree that sniper rifles are crazy powerful at the minute, in most situations you only really get 1 or 2 shots, and you have to land one of those to score the kill. If you miss, chances are you'll be killed by enemy. Scoped assault rifles are by far and away the most effective weapons.

Before we had zubr armor with anaesthetics and you could 1v1 a sniper, where a well placed shot to the head would still kill you, or two hits to the body with barrett if you gave the sniper user too much time. Now the only thing that gives you a chance is onyx, and that has to be activated pre-emptively because we have this dumb activation time now.

I am not defending the effectiveness of assault rifles, they are really strong and the current headshot multiplier of 3 is way too much. If you get shot by assault rifles and you don't get hit in the head you usually have a chance to shoot back. This is not the case with sniper rifles, you hear instantly killing bullets passing your head all the time, and you have no clue where the shooter is because suppressors on every gun, and distance doesn't matter when you can kill an enemy three times over anyway.

Whole community would rather play slaughter vector than this beautiful well designed map cooling tower.

Gonna keep further posts here in forum short, since I know that its totally waste of time to suggest any kind of improvements to you VG.

i know u dont care VG. i try to keep it as short as possible.


-bring back old recoil (0.54). old recoil was fine. noone ever asked about to lower the recoil.
-bring back old TTK (0.54). old TTK was fine. noone ever asked about to change it. u could simply add +30(?) to every armor part OR
-increase resistance around 10(?)% while sprinting, so gameplay gets back more dynamically instead of this static positioning-festival
-bring back old sniper rifle system (0.54). old one was fine too. noone ever asked about to make SRs 100% oneshot. higher chance to survive with few hp and high bleeding chance was the correct way.
-remove map cooling tower. everyone dislikes this map.
-bring back map vector slaughter. pushing until one side couldnt move out anymore was part of this maps tactics.
-implement clan war system. clans are useless here.
-ingame polls. duty to pick an option before continue.
-SD mode for all maps. i already explained in the past u dont need a special map build for it.
-replace artifact for SD. artifact mode is not played at all. ingame poll for that.

Artifact Hunt will be replaced by S&D eventually, this is still the plan, no in-game polls needed for that (which, by the way, you directly assume that are easy to implement). FANTOM said in a match on PTS that AH -> S&D was going to happen with 0.57, but that is very old info now.

CNPP map is disliked by many because of performance and visibility issues. It will be improved or expanded (to its full version), but never removed.

Vector Slaughter map was removed because one side had more base exits than the other. There were plans to add an extra exit, but those plans were put on hold when the Co-op mission began its development. If you want that variant back, express your opinion like you just did but in the right place and they might give it more priority if enough people ask for it (you're not the first one to do so).

Clanwars were in the game before and were removed in the first place because no one (or not enough clans) played them, and those who did, rigged them. Several polls were made afterwards on the forums and social media, and never did those polls get enough support for CWs to be brought back.

It's one thing to recover some mode that already existed but needed improving, and another entirely different to bring you something that wasn't even there to begin with. I can't tell you what happened behind doors between 2013 and now, only that VG is now self-funded and no longer have investors who, I suppose, had their own ideas for the game if they were providing them the money. This info is publicly available, it can be found here.
