The new jump is really wierd... I dont know if its intended like that or not, but u cant jump as far as u could which makes some maps with little jumps much harder to navigate. i hope the jump will be extended back.

I think there are some places that it was never intended for us to be able to jump up, like what you see at Chemical Plant bridges. IMHO it's better how it is now, they're back to being "one-way" jumps, just like in old versions when our characters were a lot heavier and you'd run out of stamina with 2-3 jumps.

Guys, I don't know if you noticed but clouds on some maps cast shadows now, whenever sun is behind them :D looks really cool. To see it , load up Mamayev Kurgan map and from upper spawn stand near the tank and observer the sun and how lightning changes as the skybox moves.

Also, I have a question to @dima. Is the new version of SSAO implemented or not ? I remember you talked about it briefly during PTS.

the game crashes with CPU 8 cores+SMT / HT (Simultaneous Multithreading/ Hyper Threading). i hope VG fix this. with the old version there was no problems with SMT. when anybody have the same problem you have to deactivate the SMT/HT in your bios.

- new jump animation is awful, without that extra step it look silly. And you can't jump nowhere... perhaps it is in game now only for stupid movement like in that short prepatch movie? All maps should be redesign now... No one want new jump animathion, old was ok. Where is prone animation?

- nade are useless now

- when my ping jumps to ~130, my character super fast look at sky, ground and spin around... i even see it on killcam...

To be honest, we would need to have some additional movement options. Why do you need to jump to access some places anyway? Like those piles of boards in the sawmill? Why not allow people CLIMB on it? Why not introduce ladders?

Oh and it would be nice to have timestamps in the general chat.

So we are not supposed to get on Rudnyas house roofs e.t.c.? And in vostok radar station there is a small jump needed from the truck to upper area (from the top right spawn) and its possible but i fail a lot which is trigering,
Also in tarakanovsky fort to cant jump to the boken bridges

You're here since 2013 like me, so you know that it was not possible to get up on those places back in old versions like 0.17-0.26 when our character was very heavy and would run out of stamina real fast. Now you're used to what you had up until 0.52 and you can't live without it, but you'll get used to the new jump too again with time.

This is silly. Nades still kill, their damage and range were not nerfed with this patch. They still cripple your legs too. Hand fracture was removed (most likely) because of this issue: https://streamable.com/kji75 you use larkspur to heal fractures instantly but it still switches to your secondary and you're dead.

Correct, there are ladders for the places where you can get up, and other places like fences to get up, just like in old versions. If something doesn't have ladders or "natural" access, you shouldn't be able to get up there unless some kind of vaulting is introduced.

I don't know which spot you're talking about, but in that map (and other maps too) I always use Sprint+W against the object to get up.

Well, they are "broken"...

Climbing and ladders would need new animations to be added that would have to be synced to the server from 3rd person perspective, so it's extra work too.

You still can jump onto those bridges. It's just takes time to get used to it.

But at that time, when you used light weight equipment then you was able to jump at that places. Only heavy armors was penalized - and that was fair.

VG added some shortcuts on maps variation like that truck on vostok, and they dont work now.

That's weird - game runs just fine on our 8 cores/16 threads CPU. Can you tell me model of your CPU? Can you send me a crash report? Start a game with HT on, wait for it to crash and send me archive with content of this directory:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Survarium-(Steam)

Please send me logs after playing match with such issues (as I described above), preferably with description on when and what should I be looking for, e.g. "mouse jumps randomly at 13:45".

Is this patch heavier on CPU than previous? Even with low graphics settings - almost everything off, and voice chat disabled my 4-cores i5 is almost all the time on full during the match (graphics: GTX970, FPS limited to 90, 16 GB system RAM).

are duckbills working as intended? this one gives a freaking +37.5% shot grouping by average, i can headshot ppl across the map with ease. plus upgrading it to blue just gives worse values

And another question then. How come, when I have v-sync on (61 fps cap), the game somehow manages to lose 2-3 frames which results in severe stutter, but when I turn it off FPS never goes below 70 mark (meaning that my rig can sustain those constant 60 frames in order for v-sync to work properly). The frame drops with v-sync on, most of the time, occur when I make sudden movements, like doing a 180 turn in less than a second.

It also doesn't work that well in PVE mode.

I mean, if your FPS aren't lower, then there's no issue with the game using the CPU more.

But that regular shot grouping (+27.5%) will yield you much better results, since it takes the "circle" like shotgun dispersion and just makes it tighter. A duckbill will stretch out that "circle" horizontally (making vertical almost non-existent) and most of your pellets will never hit the target.

EDIT: oh, I see it now. Misunderstood you there for a bit. It's quite strange that green duckbill gives only +5% to h-dispersion and a massive v-dispersion reduction. Probably needs fixing.
