I do think the H one. It's the one used in the US military, if I'm not mistaken.
Unless it kicks like a mule it's going to be worse than the SOCOM.

Though it could be worse, BM could have gotten an LMG in 7.62x51, at least the Minimi is a 5.56 gun.

Yeah, I love the fact they add a new carabine, the SOK-94 ! I think the game misses weapon like this, since the Mosin and TOZ-122 are totally useless in high level.
All these modifications are awesome, and reputation balance is more than welcome ! Thx to all the team again, you're doing an awesome work !

This can only add more depth to that game in a structurally sound way - pretty hopeful about these changes actually.
There will always been more tuning of course.

I wouldn't be so quick to think it will fix things. We've had limited eqlevels in the past, and matchmaking was still entirely dependent on player tide to work well. The last time eqlevels were changed it nearly doubled in size.

I like all I'm hearing except for how missions will work.

It is good that you will be able to complete a mission on different levels of prestige, (bronze,silver,gold) but the fact that you can only do three a day for each faction will make it very hard to achieve higher levels within a faction. They do say that completing a high number of melee kills will give you a separate reward for reputation though that will not expire after three completions so completing feats like that (kill streak, grenade kills, artifact finds) might be able to satisfy those of us who want to play more than the three missions and then be done for the day.

Also, I'm glad they have the PP-91 Kedr which is what my name was originally :)

I would prefer L for 1 reason:
30 round mag
other than that I think you might be right on H version because it uses same ammo type as SKS and AKM which are lvl 6 weapons for FS and RA and for the same reason it might be (old) lvl 6 weapon for BM (I think it will be a bit more powerful than AKM due to lower clip size for the sake of balance).
But I'm just guessing and we'll have to wait (probably 2 months - sorry guessing again) a while to find out.

PS By the way VG, for the next PTS where we would probably test new faction stuff (along with other goodies) it would be good idea to add weapon packs to the store so testers would have easy access to test new weapons and armor and give opinions on their balance.

I would strongly suggest before condensing tiers and adding a bunch of gear, please work on team balance a bit. Matchmaking is a long and ongoing process, but at least balancing teams more based on rank/gear would go a long, long way. Team balance IMO seems to be people's biggest problem with the current version, and granted in the scheme of the whole game, it is a very small aspect of what you are accomplishing here.

The game is going great, but please take some time to look at only this as soon as possible.

I agree with this. Put testers in conditions you want tested, and packs of equipment make this easier to get feedback for balance. Left alone many testers will just look at the highest tier equipment and use that for PTS.

Also I love the new reputation one, maybe however people could pick one of the 3 challenges? That way they can do something they know they can do? Hell you could monetize it by letting you pick 2 challenges of choice by spending gold

Great changes but some weapons are too modern to me :-)
What about to add SA58, CZ75, CZ82, vz 61. Great Czechoslovakian post soviet region weapons----would fit well to scavengers didn't? :-)

I think we have enough Slavic weapons at this point, thank you. Hell, 75% of Survarium's arsenal must be Slavic at this point.

The FAL is a nice suggestion, though that's another FN weapon to add to the pile.

Yeah. If you look at the world map, we see the natural disaster zone happens near Central Asia, north west US (border between Canada and US), and outwards towards Japan, and there's lots of arrows of activity around these zones. Some of them match the lore for Renaissance Army, where they abandon posts and regroup in a rush towards a part of lower Asia, while others show a retreat towards Alaska, Africa, and Japan. Brazil has a large bullet hole in it, and Australia is non-descript.

VG have stated that they intend 9 factions and that the game will be a world-wide conflict. There's still a lot of holes in the story we don't know, such as how is the rest of the world, outside ex-bloc states, going to be represented?

It might be typo, but it looks like either VG has some insider info in not yet published russian origin weaponry or it will look similar to this :

Or possibly it was already confirmed as a typo on the day it was announced.

Chandrian [ viewtopic.php?p=132332#p132332 ]:It's as simple as going to the /ru version of the site and you can see they have written СВДК there, which stands for SVDK.
