Hello! New question

There is this unique backpack around tier 3 that gives Scan protection. The backpack is call a antiradar and I have no idea what the limitation to this backpack is. Does the scan protection protect my presence on the radar completely? Or does it reduce it like masking Radius? If it protect my presence completely, does that mean I won't show up on the map if I fire my shotgun with no silencer or does it still show my red dot?

The scanner protection is for when the enemy has either a mobile or stationary scanner that they deploy. If you have scanner protection then you will not be displayed on their radar. However, shoot still exposes you.

This is not true, but I think I know the reason why you think like this. For example, there are a few shotguns in the M4 tier (2) that can no longer be bought, they're marked with "OLD" tag in the inventory if you have them or saw them in the killcam.

Those are the ones you saw and not the tier 3 or tier 4 ones that you see in the shop, and their stats differ from those versions too (T3 Benelli has 110 damage, T2 "OLD" has 100; T3 Spas-12 has 81 ROF and 100 dmg, T2 "OLD" has 44 ROF and 90 dmg).

Game doesn't allow for tier 2 to play against tier 4 (or any other higher tier like 3 or 5) unless you have something of tier 4 equipped.

Then, Tier 2 plays with Tier 3 and Tier 4 plays with Tier 5, but that's only in Rating matches.

because no matter how much you've "nerfed" them it doesn't change much, VERESEK is still a meat grinder with 0 recoil and 900 rpm what can you counterpose it to in t2? same goes for Benelli in t2 ? and MANY others .
It makes perfect sense to fix this issue AFSAP !

Veresk will not get nerfed because AEK-919 Kashtan exists: https://i.imgur.com/7xTzZ8D.png

- AEK-919 has 26 damage compared to 25 of Veresk.
- Same rate of fire (900), distance (20m), aiming time (0.2s), same magazine size (20) and same stopping power (40%) on both weapons.
- Recoil is lower on AEK-919 and tactical reload is faster, too.
- Veresk in exchange has lower slowdown and a bit better material penetration.

If you try AEK-919 and use it and think it has more recoil than Veresk "OLD" which you don't have, it's a placebo effect because killcam doesn't show recoil properly.

sorry, VG, but as one of your investors, I repeat some of my (naive) questions that you tend to ignore:

1) useless reputation boosters - got 200+ of them. Will I need them any time soon? In 2018? ;-)

2) is it possible to make medals disappear from the game screen? the "show medal" checkbox isn't working properly, medals are shown, sound is played etc. Please fix it.

3) are you thinking on improving Match Making? Optional bots or KD-based matchmaking? <- this one gets vital for me now. PvP gets more and more unplayable, especially with every little update you have (because of the e-sportsmen waking up to see "what happened to the game")

4) can you make squad invitations show the invitor's current tier? or is it too hard?

5) have you thought of changing crosshair mechanics? should not be available in Slaughter at all or in any other mode at a certain distance.

6) have you thought of making grenades useable when your arms are broken? like, the "broken-arms" grenading should be really weak in terms of distance, like maybe only rolling on the floor, but at least pulling the safety pin out and "cooking" it should be available.

7) have you thought of big guns lowering turning / melee speed?

Receiving Reputation points while you maxed out all factions already is ... uneconomical maybe?...

What about exchanging reputation with experience? Or when someone already is lvl 100 then exchange reputation with silver or spareparts.
Also I imagine an alternative as tokens for PvE. Like every 1000 units of reputation would be converted to one token for PvE access, so that those experienced players would help younger players advance

VG can change the way reputation works. for example if you want to access tire 5 weapons and armors of Fringe you should play with more than 3 piece of their equipments( except backpack), this way you will gain reputation for your desired faction . on the other hand you will loose the reputation of the Rival faction(scavengers-Fringe vs Renaissance and Scavengers-Fringe-Renaissance Vs Black market) . if VG going to be interested in this idea I can explain more about it. :)

That's what we had in closed beta. So no, no need to explain it more and doubt they are interested in it. (and would it be of any help in his scenario?)

Steam Deck is based on a Linux OS, but BattlEye doesn't run on Linux. But Steam stated that they're working with BE to make such games compatible, so maybe Survarium will work too.
