joewillburn:When can we expect events focused on teamplay? We have had a lot of events which have killing or playing solo as the main point, but barely anything supporting teamplay.
Survarium has been designed in a way to allow and encourage teamplay. The players who play as a team or coordinate their actions receive substantial advantages. Yet, implementing in-game mechanics requiring a high level of action coordination from the players would be a mistake since in common public matches the percentage of players ready to sacrifice their personal bonuses or advantages in favor of other players is extremely low.

Except in TDM actual teamplay is strongly discouraged. A team consists of more than squads going on a killing spree. I've seen it so many times that said squads don't care if they win the match since they gain more silver/exp/reputation by the mere bodycount. Nothing has ever been tried to stop that behavior even though there are many suggestions made in that black hole of the forum called ideas&suggestions.
Of course no one will sacrifice personal advantages for others. The answer to that would be: Encourage people who sacrifice and discourage the selfish!!! How hard is that to understand?

False statement.

False and contradictional statement.

If game mechanics would be properly implemented, there would be no "personal bonuses or advantages" to sacrifice, when teamplay is required. Is it so hard to get more points to the winning team, more for taking battery, to fix research points issue?
Why would VG implement attachment grinding based on kills? It's strictly encourages anti-team gameplay.
What can I say reading such responses? Blind, blind, blind...

+1

Either VG is trying to fool us (which I think it's the case here) or they're really incompetent and have 0 clue what they're doing.

But this isn't the first time they tried to fool us. Remember the NA server issue? VG insisted there was one, but there wasn't.

Encourage team, it is a big joke, you do opposite encourage solo - TDM and weapons upgrade are you sure that is to encourage teamplay?
And Teamplay depend also on what you wrote below. your f...... MM.

joewillburn:
Are you planning on changing the MM or reduce the differences between the tiers? It is currently quite common that players from lower tiers are facing higher tier players (about one or two levels higher) which can be a problem due to tier gaps.
So far we have made a number of iterations to the way how MM works in the game. The current one suits us best so far, however further tweaks are possible of course. Bad experience with MM depends on a number of factors, such as the server you play on, time of the day – generally the more players that are currently online, the faster and more precise the MM is.

The current suits you, great but it doesn't suit us it is a nightmare, team not equilibrated, to high difference of lvl.

joewillburn:
Will we ever have maps playable at night?
At the moment we are not sure how much fun such feature would add to Survarium. Maybe at a later point.

Maybe that is the answer of all the problems in Survarium, "you are not sure". I think for a part of community could be fun, but when you are not sure about something ask us, maybe it will preserve you to have update only like by 25% of players.

Do you know something about the storm? So the freeplay is like the storm.

Freeplay is the new nouvelle of Jules Verne, science fiction.

Well, seeing as originally we were told night maps are a planned feature that will be coming, complete with flashlights and nightvision, and there were even a few pictures of Cologne during the night weather set, we are now told "it probably wouldn't even be that cool guys just forget it kay"

I'm guessing their fps became single digits when everyone had a flashlight on during testing

Or maybe their budget and/or employee roll hit single digits axaxax
