Regarding artifact hunt mode:
Just lost an artifact hunt mode match on Mamayev map, basically because two artifacts spawned near the enemy base, at the square, and the other three got destroyed in the fire, magically went down there. We got the next one that spawned, but the time was running out so we had no chance to come back and lost.

My idea to "balancing" out shotguns:
Pump,break action shotguns: should have highest damage (95-110) or 2-1 shot body shot and 1 head shot. This kind of shotgun would require precision more than spray and pray (kinda like sniper of shotgun but in close-medium range). Dispersion and range suggested to be considered by length of the barrel of the shotgun.

Semi shotguns: should have lower damage (60-75) or 2-3 shot body shot and 1 shot head shot. Faster firing one(Benelli M4 and Vepr-12) should have lower damage and lesser range while slower firing one(MP-153 and Saiga) would have high damage and longer range than the others, which is similar to break action shotgun idea.

Slug ammo should have longer range while dispersion stay the same.

Consider adding more pump shotgun would be nice so people have more variety of pump action shotgun.

Lastly, add new semi shotgun in the same tier as SPAS-12 and make SPAS become pump action.

Semi-auto shotguns definitely need to have way less damage than pump-action ones. It's done like that in BF4 and it works.

Another idea,Add penalty for using attachment(?).
As a person who custom guns for it's look (pls buff AKM). There should be a reason to always use attachment.

Ex. Using muzzle brake would decrease dispersion and (Obviously) improve recoil and add very little weight.

Using suppressor would decrease both dispersion and range but improve recoil and add some weight.

Using laser sight would give your position away in smoke and improve hip fire accuracy BUT "blind" enemy when aimed at.

Using vertical grip would improve recoil but decrease weapon drawing time. Angled grip would improve dispersion but decrease weapon drawing time the least. Potato grip would improve scope sway but decrease weapon drawing time the most.

Using Scopes/Red dot sights would give your position away with lens flare in day time. Detectable cone should be various on magnification and add weight depend on scope sight.

Any suggestion are welcomed, And hope VG consider my ideas for update.

Hello developers. Please add zoom sensitivity settings (sensitivity when you aiming with scope) into the game. I'd love to adjust my zoom sensitivity.

My idea for ballacing is removing all ranks. It destroys community and it makes slow matchmaking...

Then you can make guns more realistic without bullsh*t balance. Let make fight where are Mosins against light machineguns. Players will have more fun !

Some pistols have more damage than assault rifles !

Limit t1-t2 for players level 1-15 (or 20), It's not fair that new people who are just getting to know the game have to play against people up to level 100 (for example),for that this ppl play 2 or 3 weeks and leave the game, implement this idea and take care of your new users, i know, I know any high level user can use to alternative account for farm newbies but is too easy to get level 15 or 20 they will not be playing for long at these levels.

High tier people are grinding low level tier for the ticket. Your attempt to force people to win PvP as cause all the veteran to search for easy prey

Problem is in armor. This is reason why t1 are easy prey for t5 terminators. If you add that guns in survarium feel like airsoft, you get cancer. Player skill is less important. Even skilled player in FPS, but new in Survarium, cannot kill T5 noob (or worse player) with those joke balanced guns.

Academic suggest, gun play only (without anomaly and other environment protection):

Armor tiers:

Armor tier 1 - weak protection against weak calibres, like 9x18 and shotgun small shots, worse against powerfull pistol cartridges, like 9x19, 7.62x25, no match for intermediate and full power rifle cartridges.
Armor tier 2 - intermediate protection against small shot bucks, pistol calibres, very limited protection against intermediate and full power rifle cartridges.
Armor tier 3 - quite effective against all pistol calibres, intermediate protection against intermediate and full power rifle cartridges.

Weapon tiers:
Tier 1 - Pistols, Submachine guns
Tier 2 - Assault rifles, shotguns
Tier 3 - Rifles, Machine guns

And also weapon effectivenes can be modified by ammunition select.

Also weapons should be limited not by bull*hit stats by some drugged programmer, but with ammunition availability and price.

I loved old survarium where you purchased ammo before match and paid for it.

Now?

Stupid Call of Duty sh*t fest.

Shortly: If you create over complicated game mechanic, you never will get balanced game.

But i have very naive wish, it wont happen and survarium will have just separated community in broken tier system, trying to balance gunplay until it dies for better designed games. Sad story. I dont even know why i am trying to write this. Nobody cares :-D

I dont even talk about PVP grind required for PVE. People who invented this "briliant" idea should turn their neck until everything get black.

I find some of the submachine guns are as accurate as sniper rifles with scopes
would love if the sub machineguns would be only used for close quarter combat like it was meant for not killing people from carbine range

You do understand that even if they are accurate at that range*, they don't have the range to cause nearly enough damage?
*All weapons (except for shotguns, duh) have perfect accuracy when aiming down sights.
